We developed the brand identity and strategic positioning for Melbourne-based biotech company Exopharm, creating a distinctive and credible brand platform that expressed their innovative approach to advancing exosome-based therapeutics.
Following the establishment of the core brand, we extended the identity across a comprehensive suite of touchpoints, including corporate communications, investor collateral, product packaging, presentation materials, and large-scale environmental graphics throughout the company’s laboratory and workplace. This consolidation and elevation of the company’s communications played an important role in attracting funding, enhancing credibility with investors, and helping attract and retain high-calibre scientific and commercial talent.
An important component of Exopharm’s brief to us was the building of camaraderie - a sense of solidarity, shared purpose, and collective effort. To bring this to life in a unique and meaningful way, we designed individual lab coats for all staff that had a unique number and their surname embroidered on the back, as if they were part of a sports team. This distinctive, fun element transformed a functional workplace garment into a symbol of belonging, reinforcing team identity and fostering a strong sense of pride and shared achievement across the organisation.
